Indulge me, I'm a grandma!

I seem to remember reading somewhere that grandmothers are allowed to brag about their grandchildren. In fact, I think it's mandatory!

Grace is two weeks old in these pictures. Just think, she could grow up to be president someday.

Grace is smiling because she likes the idea of being called Madame President!

Sorry fellas, but I think it's time to turn our country over to women so we can clean up the messes you've made!

How adorable. Even at 2 weeks old, she has character in that cute little face. I'm sure she inherits that from her grandma.

Madame President, you say? She could do a better job today than the current occupant of the WH.

That, and she perhaps hasn't ruled out a slight list to starboard during those rebellious adolescent years... ;^)

She looks so lively and adorable. Yes, indulge. It's what grandparents have the license to do.

Oh, and you should get her this onesy.

I agree (although I'm not too fond of Hillary).

Very nice pics. Congrats.

Abi, thank you. Her mother is a woman of character too, and I'd like to think I had some influence in that respect.

Pohlitics, thanks.

Steven, hello. How are you? Are you officially "hitched" now? I hope the career is going well for you at "Boston Legal!"

Rich, that onesy is great! The words remind of that axiom, "out of the mouths of babes."

Graeme, thanks. I'm not too sure about Hillary either. Thank goodness the election isn't anytime soon.

Shella, my granddaughter's name is Grace. I think she's cute too. Thanks.

I've stopped by a few times over the weekend to see if you had posted anything new (I don't have a life), and these pics made me smile every time. ;-)

Abi, ahhh...that's so sweet. I think babies really do reaffirm our hope in humanity. They love us unconditionally, trust us not to hurt them, and ask for little more than food and warmth.

I'm glad Grace could grace your life with a smile. :-)
