Congress investigates the wrong liar

I think we need to replace everyone in Washington and start over from scratch. We're spending $12.5 billion dollars a month in Iraq, our troops are dying, our country is in a depression and Congress wants to investigate whether Roger Clemens lied to them under oath.

Attention Congress: How about investigating Bush, Cheney and the rest of the administration for those lies they told us about Iraq?

This mystifies me as well. Also, note that the Justice Department expects to bring a perjury case against Clemens. They have the time, resources, and institutional commitment for that, but they won't reexamine whether water boarding is torture even though it's clear that the original Gonzales opinion was a rigged game.

People still look up to sports stars. They gave up on politicians telling the truth a long time ago.

Lew, how true.

With all the liars in our government to choose from, they must have been afraid to investigate themselves.
